The Graduate Affairs Administrator will explain to you important administrative procedures you have to know, including Autumn registration, health insurance, ID cards, Internet access, athletic privileges, and other items (including financial matters), which will be useful to you. The meeting will be followed by a group and individual photo session.

Grad Influences Welcome (MCP 3rd Floor Atrium)

Please join us for the Grad Influences mentoring program welcome meeting.  All first year (incoming) graduate students are welcome to attend. Current graduate students that have signed up to be mentors through the program will also be in attendance!

You will meet with the Advising Committee Members (Dr. Stuart Gazes and Dr. Zosia Krusberg) individually (~15 minutes each). You will receive an announcement regarding the exact interview schedule. Please make sure to check the schedule, record your time slot, and come a few minutes early.

Dr. Stuart Gazes and Dr. Zosia Krusberg will conduct this Workshop. It is required that all TAs participate, but RAs and Fellows are strongly encouraged to attend so that you will be eligible to serve as a TA in the future. The goal of Physics 300 is to make each participate a more effective TA. The Workshop will continue every Monday afternoon throughout the Autumn Quarter.
