We are pleased to announce that three of our recent Ph.D. graduates have won a 2019 Spring Thesis Award for their research performed at the University of Chicago. Congratulations to them and their advisors for their excellent work.
Endao worked with Professor Heinrich Jaeger on Transient dynamics of concentrated particulate suspensions under shear. He is currently a postdoc at Princeton University.
Noah worked with Professor William Irvine on Spinning topology in ordered and amorphous metamaterials. He is currently a postdoc at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Giordon worked with Professor David Miller on The search for supersymmetry in hadronic final states using boosted object reconstruction. He is currently a postdoc at the University of California at Santa Cruz.
