2021 Graduate Open House

The University of Chicago Physics Department will hold the 2021 Prospective Graduate Student Open House on Friday, March 5th, 2021. This year, due to pandemic, the Open House will have a virtual format.

Dear Prospective University of Chicago Physics Graduate Student:

The entire department (all of professors and graduate students) has been super excited to meet you at our Open House. We wanted to show you exciting research opportunities and a welcoming environment at the department, our gorgeous university campus, off-campus neighborhoods with many restaurants and shops, incredibly beautiful city of Chicago, and its proximity to the University of Chicago. However, we decided to cancel the Open House because of our concern on your health and well-being. Instead, we will have a Virtual Open House, including one-on-one meetings with the faculty, conversations with graduate students, and overviews of our department, the graduate program, and research programs.
